Hi!
Thank you so much for visiting my website! My name is Roslyn Witter and I'm a photographer based out of Hamilton, Ontario. Instead of boring you with a bio about myself, I'm going to jump right into why I do what I do:
Before I was born, my dad wrote a song called "Stolen Moments". When he performed this song it would bring tears to the eyes of nearly every listener. When I was little, I never understood why it made people so sad. Why was this song my dad wrote about his kids making people cry?
I am understanding and appreciating the meaning of this beautiful song more and more as I'm getting older: life is made up of moments time steals away from us. "The times we take for granted all too soon will disappear". We live in such a fast-paced world. When we are constantly wishing our time away and living for the days to come, we forget to appreciate the little moments we are blessed with right now. The moments we will one day look back on and say "I would give anything to go back to that time".
My job is to capture these moments and freeze them in time for you. Whether it be your big wedding day, a milestone birthday, a pregnancy, a proposal, a precious little newborn - these are all important moments that we are only blessed with once in a lifetime.
I love what I do. I am so excited for the road ahead, the people I am going to meet, and all the moments I am going to freeze in time along the way.
